Read what others are saying about Brighton Girls Camp:

Camper:  I am a college student now, but I still often think of the times I came to Brighton Camp and the wonderful counselors I had. Truly some of the best memories I have and I honestly wish I was still young enough to go one more time. If you are on the edge of going, I would tell you to absolutely go for it! You will gain so much out of it.

Camper:   My counselor would sing us to sleep!!  Awesome.

Camper:  Food was good and we didn’t have to make it.

Camper:  I didn’t want to come to camp.  I thought it would be boring but I’ve had so much fun.   I feel so good being here.  I don’t want to go home.

Camper:   I can’t wait to teach some of the camp songs to my friends.   I bought one of the song books to take home.  The songs are so spiritual and some are just really funny.  I learned I can sing a song in my head if I ever feel scared or down and it will help me feel better.

Camper:  I loved the brownies.

Camper:   My mom made me come.  I didn’t want to but now I don’t want to go home.   I think I might want to come back one day when I’m older and be a camp counselor.  They are so nice and really care about us.

Camper:  Don’t pack a lot because you have to carry everything up hernia hill and it might kill you.

Parent of Camper:  My daughter shared her testimony in church today about the impact Brighton camp had on her spirituality.  She was deeply touched by the devotional and what she learned about her worth.  She came home a new, more mature and who version of herself and her testimony was deepened.

Camper:  Brighton camp was one of the best things I’ve ever done.  I learned to push through fear and disappointment and have a heck of a lot of fun doing it.   I still pull out the songbook and sing a few of my favorite songs from time to time.   I love that place.

Camper:  I attended camp when I was 12 and 13 years old.   This experience really helped shape who I am and helped me develop a sense of adventure, but most importantly, helped me in developing my love for Jesus Christ through nature.

Camper:   Brighton Girls Camp grew my testimony and taught me to trust in God.  I was scared to do zipline and repel, but I wanted to do it.   My counselor supported me and we said a prayer on top of the cliff/platform, and I felt so strong.   I was nervous to go, but at the end of the week, I never wanted to leave.   I love all of the people I met,  and all of the opportunities I had to strengthen my testimony.   Definitely a faith-building experience.

Camper:   Camp changed my life.  Since I went, I felt the spirit so much more.  I feel like I can pray, and God will hear me.   My sweet counselor was so kind and loving – I miss her so much!   I wasn’t expecting to, but I made a lot of really good friends at camp, and I’m sure that we’ll stay in contact for a really long time.   Going to camp was one of the best decisions of my life.  100% would recommend.

Parent of Camper:   My daughter was nervous to go to camp, but came back so happy with so many new friends!   She talked about her experiences all the way home and said she would go back again, and she is not much of an outdoorsy girl!   It made me so happy that Brighton camp is still a thing because I got to attend as a young girl back in the day and I highly recommend!

Parent of Camper:   Wonderful and Amazing experience!   Keep up the good work!  And THANKS!

Parent of Camper:   KK came home feeling like a new person!  She had the best time at camp!  She loved camp!

Camper Allie:   This was my first year at Brighton Camp, I was soo nervous.  But turns out, Brighton Camp is the best!   I loved it, there are soo many things to do!   Brighton Camp strengthen my testimony.   It was the best experience for me.

Parent of Camper:   My daughter loved Brighton!   She especially loved the food, rappelling, senior missionaries, the songs and the “Spirit” that was there when the counselors would sing “Walk Tall, you’re a Daughter of God” at night outside of the cabins.

Parent of Camper:  Brighton was an excellent experience for my daughter.  My daughter had spiritual experiences bringing her closer to the Savior and helping solidify her identity as a daughter of God.  Thank you for your hard work!

Parent of Camper:   My daughter had the BEST time.  I can’t even imagine how much work running this camp is and I hope you know how grateful am for the life and testimony changing affect this has on the girls.  My girl probably spent an hour reading to us from her journal on Sunday and telling us all about it.   Bravo- I’m so grateful all of you and that she got to attend!

Camper:   I came to Brighton really struggling.   I didn’t want to go.  And I would have rathered just stay home in my bed, however, when I went I met so many people.   So many people that I can never forget, and I am so happy that I went.   We had so many faith building activities, and I came out having such a boost in my faith of Christ.   I loved it all so much, all of the counselors were wonderful people and helped me build my own friendship with God.

Parent of Camper:   I was so worried to send my daughter who didn’t know anyone and didn’t have a bunkmate.  My biggest fear was that she would be lonely and come back home regretful of her decision to go.   All week long I prayed for her that she would have a good time and make new friends while discovering who she really is while coming closer to Christ.   When I went to pick her up on the return date I was so nervous that my fears would become a reality.   When I found my daughter she had a glow about her.   Her smile was genuine and she was crying about how much she would miss her new friends.   Hearing about her experiences over the week gave me so much peace knowing God does hear our prayers.  They were answered more beautifully than I could have hoped for and I am forever grateful for the staff and camp leaders that made such a great impact on my daughter’s live forever!!!   Thank you for working silent miracles for Gods beautiful daughters!

Parent of Camper:  I was so worried and prayed so hard that my daughter would have a good experience at camp.  She went all alone and it was hard not to be able to be in contact with her all week.  When she got in the car after her week at Brighton, I asked her on a scale of 1-10, how her week was.  She answered with, “10 million!”   She proceeded to tell me all about her week and sing camp songs all the way home.   I was so grateful.   I could tell she was loved and that her testimony great.   She really really needed that.   Thank you to everyone there on the staff who made this such an amazing experience for these girls who are figuring life out and who need to know that they are loved by our Savior.   Couldn’t be more grateful!
